Fresh Start Recruitment (UK) Ltd is assisting a fast-paced food production company in Mansfield to recruit a Production Planner. You will be responsible for producing daily production plans and ensuring they are communicated across departments, while proactively looking for waste reduction and continuous improvements.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilités

• Produce daily production plans and communicate them to relevant teams.
• Resolve system errors affecting order processing and stock control.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure compliance with stock and production goals.
• Create daily and evening production schedules and monitor performance.
• Assist Planning Manager and provide cover as needed.
• Monitor costs, stock levels and overall production performance.

Production Planner

Mansfield (due to location, you must drive and have own transport)

£33,600 plus overtime - weekly paid role

Monday - Friday 6am - 3.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner based in the Mansfield area for a fast-paced, high quality food production company. As the Production Planner you will be responsible for ensuring and producing daily production plans and ensuring they are communicated along looking ahead for improvements, waste reductions, and developments.

Responsibilities / Duties of the Production Planner

• Reporting daily to the Planning Manager
• Ensuring efficient order processing and solving any issues with system error
• Effective communication with departments to maintain compliance with stock control and managing as needed
• Producing daily and evening production plans
• Confidentially question performance to reduce waste and ensure continuous improvements
• Monitoring production output performance throughout the day
• Reporting costs, stock levels, and production performance
• Provide cover for the Planning Manager

Skills and experience needed for the Production Planner

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
