Job description

A global manufacturing company in Greater Manchester is seeking a Production Planner to join their established planning team.

Working for a rapidly expanding, high-volume manufacturer, this role is varied and involves planning across a wide range of products and liaising with multiple stakeholders.

The primary responsibilities include supporting the Planning Manager to ensure production plans for made-to-order products meet customer and business deadlines.

Key Tasks Include
  • Planning and raising orders on the MRP system
  • Assisting in automating and improving departmental processes
  • Handling material issues during planning and production
  • Managing replacement materials efficiently
  • Planning production to ensure quality service and compliance with ISO 9001 standards

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times.
