Annual Compensation Range: $75,000-$90,000

Biocoatis committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and coatings application on medical devices. We are looking for a Production Planner for our cleanroom coating service business unit. This role requires an associate who is willing to support the team and who is dedicated to making sure deadlines are met. The associate will monitor all processes for efficiency.

What will I be doing as a Production Planner?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the production schedule to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process
  • Create, plan, schedule and coordinate all Manufacturing Orders (MO’s)
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Work efficiently and professionally cross departmentally to achieve best-in-class service
  • Maintain inventory of materials and parts needed for coating processing and testing
  • Ensure documentation is completed and properly reviewed prior to releasing to customer
  • Expedite materials and orders as needed
  • Assist with Coating Technician duties as required

Do I qualify?

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering. Certifications may act in place of a bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience working as a production/manufacturing coordinator, preferably in the medical device industry
  • Works well under pressure and is team oriented
  • Ability to maintain a sharp focus paying strict attention to coordinating activities
  • Highly organized but can switch gears and change schedules on short notice with patience and a sense of urgency
  • Computer literacy for standard word processing, spreadsheet (Excel) database, and MRP systems
  • Excellent communication, time management, and prioritizing skills.
  • Must be able to endure physical demands of position including repetitive lifting 10 lbs., standing for long periods of time, wearing required PPE while demonstrating safe work practices.
