Your new role
Hays Supply Chain are recruiting on an exclusive basis for a local organisation within the FMCG/food production industry. As a business, they are committed to delivering high-quality products to customers and are looking for a dedicated Production Planner to help achieve these goals.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely production of our products. You will work closely with various departments to coordinate production schedules, manage inventory levels, and optimise production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
2. Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
3. Monitor inventory levels and adjust production plans as needed to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.
4. Analyse production data and identify areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with quality control to ensure products meet our high standards.
6. Prepare and present production reports to management.

What you'll need to succeed:

1. Proven experience as a Production Planner in the FMCG/food production industry.
2. Strong understanding of production planning and inventory management principles.
3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

What you'll get in return:
A competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum is on offer. This would be negotiable for the right person and would also include the companies' full benefits package. The role is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday-Friday.
