We are recruiting for a Production Planner to join our Manufacturing team, based at our Whitley office to help us efficiently, and effectively build lifesaving and life changing products for our all-important customers.
What will you be doing in this role?
As our Production Planner you provide an accurate, effective, and timely production and material planning service to ensure delivery of the Master Production Schedule (MPS). You will receive sales and marketing forecasts and be responsible for converting these forecasts into an achievable production schedule that meets both customer orders and manufacturing capabilities, whilst working with relevant departments to minimise obsolesce and reduce work in progress (WIP), achieving the departments key performance indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate:
The successful candidate will have proven experience as a production planner, performing multi-level planning, involving material requirements planning (MRP) and master production schedule (MPS) systems, preferably within a manufacturing environment. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have strong IT skills (MS Office, ERP), be collaborative in your approach, able to work well independently and as part of a team.
