Your new company
Our client is a long-established manufacturing company and are a market leader in their field.

Your new role
This is a temporary position initially for 3 months with the potential to go permanent. This is a Monday-Friday position working mainly 0800-1700 with a 1530 finish on a Friday. To ensure the efficient and effective planning of all machinery in line with business objectives and sales requirements. To ensure that there is effective communication between production and Sales to ensure that the machinery is utilised to maximum efficiency. To ensure that all relevant information is communicated clearly to other members of the planning function. To provide Management with up-to-date information on the progress of orders and utilisation of machinery. Prepare production schedule and maintain all relevant information on product specification and associated processes in the Planning System. To maintain all relevant information on machine capabilities, process rates etc. in the Planning System.

What you'll need to succeed
Good standard of education with proven experience in and successful application of production planning techniques. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. Methodical approach with attention to detail with good communication skills. Good problem-solving skills, and excellent planning and organisation skills. High knowledge of products and manufacturing processes. High degree of computer literacy.

What you'll get in return
The salary is between 30,000 and 35,000, working 37.5 hours per week with 34days annual leave.
