Production Planner - AALTO HAPS | Farnborough (4 days on-site)

Contract until 31/12/2025 | £24.66 PAYE / £33.00 Umbrella | 37 hours per week

We're on a mission to lead the world in High Altitude Platform Station (HAPS) technology - and we need a skilled Production Planner to help us get there.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Production Planner, you'll be the engine behind our manufacturing operations - ensuring everything runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time. You'll work closely with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to keep production aligned with demand, inventory, and resources.

Your Day-to-day Will Include

  • Creating and managing production schedules using ERP systems (D365).
  • Coordinating material planning and inventory to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Monitoring production capacity and adjusting plans to meet deadlines.
  • Analysing data to forecast demand and optimise workflows.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in production or material planning, ideally in aerospace or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of MRP, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
  • Confident using ERP systems (especially D365) and Excel.
  • A proactive problem-solver with excellent organisational skills.
  • Someone ready to hit the ground running - this is an urgent hire to cover long-term sick leave.
