Production Planner – Gravesend, Kent – Full-Time, Office-Based

We’re currently recruiting for a talented and driven Production Planner to join a thriving manufacturing organisation based at their European head office in Gravesend, Kent. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong production planning experience, a proactive mindset, and a background in fast-paced manufacturing environments. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the right products are produced at the right time—maximising efficiency while maintaining high customer service standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating and managing weekly production schedules
  • Coordinating with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability
  • Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules for any disruptions or changes in demand
  • Utilising tools like SAP, Excel, and Power BI to support data-driven decisions
  • Leading planning meetings, reporting on capacity, and supporting ongoing continuous improvement projects

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong MRP/ERP knowledge, ideally SAP
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and data skills are a bonus
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving, and dynamic team environment
