Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company, in their search for a Production Planner to work at their established facility in Crewe.

For The Successful Production Planner, Our Client Is Offering

  • Starting salary of up to £27,500 per annum
  • Monday to Friday – 08:15 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Permanent position
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Free onsite parking

The Role – Production Planner

  • Plan all gluing production work, using machinery knowledge to meet customer delivery deadlines
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth execution of the production plan
  • Communicate with the planning department to align plans with business needs
  • Record production shorts and report them to Customer Services and Management
  • Close off completed jobs daily using job closure reports
  • Provide shift-based written communication for machine scheduling
  • Cover planning tasks during absence or holidays (once trained)
  • Ensure adherence to company Quality Assurance systems including ISO9001, BRC, PS9000, FSC, and PEFC
  • Maintain safe working practices in line with company Environmental, Health & Safety procedures

  • Previous planning experience within a manufacturing setting - ESSENTIAL
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
