East Kilbride
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum

A long-established manufacturer is looking for a Production Planner / Scheduler to join their team. The company produces high-precision engineered components used globally.

Overview of the Role

As a Production Planner / Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create and update production schedules.
2. Develop and maintain production and material plans, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
3. Streamline processes to help production meet key deadlines.
4. Lead capacity planning processes and run regular production review meetings.
5. Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams to keep operations on track.
6. Develop innovative solutions to process challenges, aligned with business objectives.
7. Report on key deliverables and status updates.

Experience & Skills

1. Strong MRP planning skills with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
2. Experience with bills of materials and routings (advantageous).
3. Proven track record in a manufacturing environment, ideally using ERP systems.
4. Excellent communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
5. Proactive approach to workload management.
6. Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
