Overview

Brook Street Recruitment is assisting a food manufacturing client in recruiting a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demands and production targets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain efficient daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Work closely with growers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh ingredients.
  • Coordinate production activities in line with available materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Liaise across departments to ensure smooth work flow and communication.
  • Track and report on production performance and KPIs.
  • Integrate new product development (NPD) runs and sample batches into the weekly schedule.
  • Conduct horizon scanning and produce relevant reports to support operational planning.
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc tasks and departmental projects as required.
  • Uphold the company's core values, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' experience in production planning or scheduling within food.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes, lead times, capacity planning.
