Title: Production Planner (Temp to Perm)Location: DriffieldSalary: up to £40,000Elevation Recruitment Group's Procurement & Supply Chain division are working exclusively with a global Manufacturer in Driffield as they look to recruit the newly created role of Production Planner on a temporary basis.The Production Planner will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to oversee the organisation's full Production process, identifying trend and demand changes, collaborating with customers to understand schedules, building capacity plans and more. This opportunity offers full autonomy and a flexible working arrangement as well as:

Key duties of the Production Planner will include:

  • Proactively identify, communicate and follow up on significant trends and demand changes, to provide long and short-term capacity plans
  • Receive, input and maintain customer orders
  • Work closely with the commercial, production and purchasing teams
  • Cooperate with the Technical team to prioritise new designs and design changes to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Analyse production demands and create production schedules based on customer requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimise excess stock and reduce stock levels
  • Create status and performance reports, in addition to any other reports when required
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement

Key Skills & Experience required:

  • Immediate availability
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in a Production Planner role
  • A high functioning team player, who has sound judgment and analytical abilities
  • Strong attention to detail with proven capabilities in handling multiple priorities
  • Highly driven and self-motivated individual
