Overview

Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Production Planner for an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall.

This is an on-site based permanent role working Friday to Monday 06:30am to 4:30pm. The role also includes a competitive salary plus an excellent bonus package.

Responsibilities
  • This is an instrumental role as a Production Planner that drives operational excellence within the business.
  • You will direct and coordinate manufacturing processes to enable a smooth production flow.
  • Build daily/weekly/7-day production plans that optimise resources, capacity and cost.
  • Liaise between departments to ensure excellent customer service.
Experience and qualifications
  • Previous planning or scheduling experience (preferably within food manufacturing).
  • Strong knowledge of planning methods, advanced Excel, and planning systems (Aurora/System 21 are desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
