Our client is a leading electronics products manufacturer, who are experiencing rapid growth, and value motivated individuals looking to progress their career. They are looking for a Production Planner to assist with their increased workload. This role will be responsible for liaising with multiple departments, ensuring timeframes and customer expectations are met.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer delivery deadlines and internal manufacturing capacity
- Ensure all products are manufactured and dispatched on time by planning and coordinating production activities effectively
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Purchasing, and Production teams to ensure alignment across departments
- Review incoming orders and provide accurate, achievable delivery dates
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to support uninterrupted production
- Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to maintain workflow efficiency
- Generate and analyse production reports to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and improving product quality
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a regulated or structured environment
- Comfort collaborating with technical and administrative teams
- A background in process improvement
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure
- Familiarity with planning or production systems (ERP or similar) is a bonus
