Vickerstock in Ballymena is seeking a Supply & Production Planner to coordinate manufacturing schedules and ensure deliveries meet customer requirements. You will balance demand, materials, and capacity to create achievable, efficient production plans.

You will lead weekly planning meetings with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Commercial teams, monitor live production and adjust plans to minimise downtime, while driving improvements in planning accuracy and delivery performance.

Formación

• Experience in production planning or scheduling within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
• The ability to analyse production data, identify scheduling constraints and adjust plans to resolve operational issues.
• The ability to coordinate production priorities with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and commercial teams.
• An understanding of how demand, material availability and capacity affect production schedules and customer deliveries.
• The ability to identify and implement improvements to planning accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
• The Supply & Production Planner position combines daily scheduling responsibility with forward capacity planning and continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer service level agreements and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure materials are available to support production.
• Align schedules with manufacturing capacity, engineering requirements and operational constraints to improve efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Adjust production plans in response to equipment breakdowns, material delays, staffing changes and fluctuations in demand.
• Attend daily operational meetings, reporting on production performance, supply risks and actions required to protect customer service.
• Lead weekly production planning meetings, agreeing priorities and achievable schedules with relevant departments.
• Work with customers and the Commercial team to coordinate deliveries and achieve on-time, in-full service.
• Develop short-, medium- and long-term capacity scenarios to identify constraints and support production decisions.
• Support compliance with health and safety, environmental and quality standards across planning and manufacturing activities.
• Drive improvements to scheduling processes, planning accuracy and operational performance.

Role Overview

As Supply & Production Planner, you will balance demand, material availability and production capacity to create achievable schedules that maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. You will monitor live production and adjust plans in response to operational changes.

The Supply & Production Planner will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Compliance, Engineering and Commercial teams, leading weekly planning meetings and supporting improvements to planning accuracy and delivery performance.
