Overview

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT PRODUCTION PAINT ASSISTANT – ROTHERWAS, HEREFORD

If you are looking for a new challenge with a global market leader which designs and manufactures airborne antennas, HR Smith Group of Companies is the one for you. We are a family run business with over 5 decades of experience and are dedicated to finding the perfect solutions for our customers. Currently we are looking for a Production Paint Assistant to join us at our Production Facility in Rotherwas.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the surface preparation (prior to paint applications) of all H.R Smith group products.
  • Adhere to strict production paperwork standards.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Sound work ethic.
  • A high degree of manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read technical drawings would be advantageous.
  • An understanding of how a busy Paintshop operates is preferred.
  • A Paintshop background is preferred but not essential.
Other Details
  • Although relevant experience would be advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Full time position.
  • Hours: 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 7.45am to 4.15pm with 30 minutes for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Free internal training provided as required.
  • Opportunities to progress, promote internally and upskill.
  • Due to the manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
