Job description

As a Production Operator, you will be supporting the Line Leader in ensuring efficient running of production lines, achieving targets, and monitoring line machinery.

The hours and days for this role are:

1. Monday – Friday, 45 hours, 05:00 - 14:00
2. or
3. Monday to Friday, 45 hours, 14:00 – 23:00

Responsibilities include:

1. Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of tasks within the production environment.
2. Maximise line output by ensuring line speeds are maintained at the correct standards.
3. Report non-conformances to the Line Leader immediately.
4. Know what is expected versus actual hourly line output rates and identify reasons for shortfalls.
5. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities and contribute suggestions to improve line performance.
6. Assist during changes on the line and learn new skills as required.
7. Complete manual work.
8. Work on different lines and areas as required.
9. Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace.
10. Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and report any issues or near misses accordingly.
11. Maintain a clean working area and demonstrate good manufacturing processes.
12. Maintain line standards and take accountability for your actions.
13. Ensure that the product meets the correct specifications to maintain and exceed customer expectations.
14. Complete routine tasks without being prompted, including any other duties relating to this role and the production environment.
