Job summary

Point Professional Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Production Operator for a permanent role in a village location. The position offers a salary of £30,000 to £34,000 plus benefits and overtime rates. The successful candidate will work on a double day basis, Monday to Friday, in a warm, team-oriented environment.

Hours are 8-hour shifts on a double day pattern (6-2 / 2-10). If you have printing industry experience, that would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right

Qualifications

• Experience in printing industry is desirable but full training will be provided for the right work ethic and desire to learn.
• Forklift licence an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prioritising work based on the Production schedule to ensure products are completed and ready to be passed to the next team in the production process on time and to specification.
• Adhering to departmental procedures and housekeeping.
• Ensuring materials are correct and present for each job.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping on machines.
• Ensuring products are of high quality by thorough inspections and reporting defects.
