Position Title: Production Operator
Location: Milton Keynes, UK - Onsite
Shift: Nightshift - Tuesday to Friday, 6pm – 6am

Position Overview

The Production Operator reports to the Production Manager/Supervisor and is responsible for operating equipment and affiliated processes such as preparing raw materials, packaging, unloading, packing, and labelling. This role ensures compliance with legal and company regulations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Prepare raw materials and packaging by identifying and transporting the correct quantities to the production area. Report any deviations.
  2. Operate processing equipment in line with process instructions and procedures.
  3. Monitor equipment to ensure consistent production run rates.
  4. Perform initial testing and release of products to verify compliance with specifications.
  5. Verify labels and packaging materials for accuracy and ensure compliance with labeling instructions.
  6. Package final products according to H.B. Fuller quality standards.
  7. Maintain adherence to quality standards and operating procedures, including all EHS rules.
  8. Ensure housekeeping standards in the designated work area.
  9. Perform additional tasks as requested by the Production Manager/Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
  2. No prior experience required.
  3. Basic knowledge of common software programs (MS Office).
  4. Ability to read and understand work orders, production processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
  5. Availability to work in shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 1 year of experience in an industrial environment.
  2. Understanding of basic English.

Physical Environment

  1. Required to stand for long periods.
  2. Walk and climb stairs.
  3. Use hands for lifting or removing boxes.
  4. Stretch, reach, stoop, and bend.
  5. Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  6. Work in a chemical environment with normal temperature, dust, smell, and noise conditions.
