Job summary

ASC Connections Ltd is recruiting a Production Operative in Leicester to join a busy production team. You will operate both automated and manual machinery with full training, handle raw materials, and complete finishing processes.

You’ll perform quality checks and update production schedules, using computer systems for stock checks and data entry. You should have basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills, plus manufacturing or warehouse experience and reliable travel for early 6am starts.

Production Operative - Leicester Join a leading UK manufacturer of high-performance composite materials. You'll be part of a busy, supportive production team creating products used across automotive, aerospace, marine and other high-tech industries. If you enjoy hands‑on work, teamwork and learning new skills, this role is for you.

Pay & Shifts

£12.71 per hour- Performance based pay rise after 3 months £10 daily shift allowance - Averaging £14.03 per hour Rotation shifts - 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Monday to Friday - weekly rotation.

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

What You'll Do

• Operate automated & manual machinery (full training provided)
• Work on raw materials lines and complete finishing processes
• Carry out quality checks and follow production schedules
• Use computer systems for stock checks & data entry
• Keep accurate records for audits
• Move materials using pump trucks/overhead cranes
• General housekeeping & basic maintenance
• Report any issues to your Line Manager
