Role Overview
The focus of this assistant Mill Operator role is to operate the Core Winder & Packaging line, ensuring efficient operation with minimum wastage in accordance with customer specifications and the converting line output. You will maintain a high standard of housekeeping while adhering to all Health and Safety procedures, policies, and standards.

Are you an experienced assistant production or manufacturing operative or machine operator looking for a new role that offers varied tasks and a great range of benefits? We are looking for an assistant Mill Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting with one of our high-speed converting lines and Rewinder, ensuring efficient operation with minimum wastage in accordance with customer specifications.
If you have experience in a factory or manufacturing environment and operating a forklift truck, we want to hear from you! This role will initially be days based from 8am to 4:30pm but will move on to shifts of 2 days followed by 2 nights then 4 days off upon successful completion of training.

Forklift truck experience

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in maths, English, and IT
