Job summary

Yara International ASA is seeking a Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in the UK. You will help ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations, monitor processes, operate equipment, and support continuous improvement during shifts as the company expands.

The role requires a commitment to safety, good problem-solving abilities, and the ability to follow procedures while working with a collaborative team across rotating shift patterns.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production plant and process equipment.
• Operate material handling equipment where trained (e.g., forklift).
• Follow operating procedures and quality standards in all production activities.
• Identify and report process deviations, equipment faults and unsafe conditions.
• Support safe and efficient production operations with colleagues and supervisors.
• Maintain records and communicate during shift handovers.
• Keep production areas clean, organized and safe.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
