Job Summary

Process Operator II - New Century, KS

The Process Operator monitors and operates low hazard equipment and facilities, including field equipment, ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures. The incumbent maintains safety standards at all times and initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary. The operator performs basic maintenance, repair, and upkeep on area equipment and may perform practical maintenance activities as qualified.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Safely and efficiently operating and maintaining the continuous performance of the process (DIMODAN/PANODAN) system using the computer to control the process.
2. Taking samples, making blends, recording and reporting accurate measurements for inventory control.
3. Maintaining safe and sanitary conditions throughout the plants.
4. Possessing SAP, spray, and packaging experience, along with knowledge of formulation processes.

The following are required:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adhere to safety and sanitation standards
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods (approx. 95% of the day)
• Ability to climb stairs and vertical ladders regularly
• Willingness to wear respirators and PPE
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in various conditions
• Availability to work night shifts (1800-0600)

• Two-year technical degree
• Spray and packaging experience
