Production Assistant – High-Speed Gluing Line

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hr

An established print and packaging manufacturer is seeking a reliable and proactive Production Assistant to support the efficient running of its high-speed gluing line. Working alongside the line operator, you’ll help with machine setup, stock management, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth and safe production.

Key Duties:

* Assist with machine setup and production runs

* Manage materials and consumables on the line

* Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks

* Ensure accurate packing, labelling, and palletising

* Support health & safety and quality standards

About You:

* Experience in packaging

* Understanding of gluing lines or finishing equipment

* Mechanically minded and keen to learn

* Organised, hands-on, and a strong team player

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting
