Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a production operative for a premium pet food producer in Okehampton. You will work on end-of-line packaging, operate packing machinery and sometimes assist in the cook plant. Training is provided and shifts rotate between days and nights.

Shifts are 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00, with overtime paid after 37.5 hours. Benefits include free parking, canteen facilities and the potential for a longer-term role.

Qualifications

• End-of-line packaging experience and ability to operate packaging machinery.

Responsibilities

• Manning end-of-line packaging machines.
• Occasional work in the cook plant.
• Operation of packing lines and adherence to safety procedures.
• Working on rotating day and night shift patterns.
