Job summary

Impact Recruitment are recruiting a Production Operative for a permanent role in Daventry, Northamptonshire. You will handle materials, pack and label finished products, perform basic quality checks and help maintain a safe, productive work area.

Shift pattern is Monday-Thursday 7:30am-3:00pm and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm, offering a stable, hands-on environment in a long-standing family-run business with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
• Reliable, hardworking and dependable approach to work.
• Good attention to detail, particularly when packing, labelling and handling products.
• Able to work safely and follow health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn new processes and develop practical skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials, finished products and other materials safely.
• Pack and label finished products accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out manual handling and general production duties as required.
• Follow production instructions, processes and company procedures.
• Complete basic production records, paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery following appropriate training.
• Assist with stock movements and general site duties when required.
• Report any hazards, incidents or equipment issues promptly.
• Complete all required training and follow site-specific procedures.
