12-hour Shifts (6am - 6pm) around 38.5 hours per week (Continental shift pattern 2,3,2 which will include weekends)

Adecco is excited to be working alongside their client based in Maldon, who is looking to hire a production Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will be line-based and includes the standard responsibilities of a production line Operator:

• Responsible for the operations and safety of the assigned production line and personnel, under limited supervision from shift supervisors, with the ability to follow a plan and meet targets.
• The line is mostly automated; operating computer software is essential - training is provided.
• Operate machinery.
• Accurately complete daily updates for the line.
• Plan ahead for product changes.
• Keep the line organized and tidy at all times.
• Update visual management boards hourly and during shift handovers.
• Operate a forklift to bring in materials and transport finished products to the warehouse.
• Conduct quality checks on products and record data into the quality system.

The Successful candidate will have:

• Experience operating and changing programs on machinery.
• Physical fitness, as the role involves physical work such as lifting and pushing.
• Previous machine operation experience.
• A motivated, positive self-starter with a willingness to learn.
• Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
