Job summary

Search Consultancy is recruiting for a Production Operative on days at our Lesmahagow site, Lanark. The role involves handling raw materials, operating equipment and ensuring products are manufactured safely to specifications.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday, 5am-5pm, with overtime opportunities. The position emphasizes reliability, accuracy, and good teamwork within a busy production environment.

Production Operative - Day Shift

Location: Lanark
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5am-5pm
Pay: £584.88 per week with overtime of up to £236.48 per week

Are you hands-on, reliable and looking for an opportunity within a busy production environment? We're looking for a Production Operatives to join the manufacturing team at Lesmahagow, supporting the production of animal feed buckets and blocks.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play an important role in the production process, handling raw materials, operating equipment and ensuring products are manufactured safely and to the required specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pulling, handling and tipping raw materials

• Pouring and weighing raw materials accurately

• Working to production specifications and schedules

• Manual handling in line with Health & Safety procedures

• Carrying out cleaning and general maintenance duties to maintain a safe, tidy working environment

• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

• Supporting other areas of the mill when required and working closely with colleagues to keep production running smoothly

What You'll Get

• £584.88 per week working Monday to Thursday

• Regular overtime paid at £16.82 per hour - up to £235.48 for Friday & Saturday short shifts
