Production Operator (Evaluation or Smelting) Location:

Brimsdown, Enfield, UK

Hours:

42 hours/week, 24/7 12-hour shifts (days & nights)

Contract:

6 months, likely to be extended

roles to support the safe and efficient processing of chemicals. If you have chemical or manufacturing experience and thrive in a safety-focused environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Support the operations team to deliver high-quality products on time.

Perform tasks as directed by the Production Lead, ensuring performance standards.

Conduct basic maintenance checks and report issues to maintain safety.

Adhere to health and safety protocols and documentation (risk assessments, process instructions).

Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Evaluation Role:

~ Assist in the preparation, processing, and storage of chemicals with precision.

Smelting Role:

Handle higher levels of manual tasks and navigate stairs routinely.

Work in a dusty environment (RPE provided).

Use computer systems (e.g., Traksys) for inventory and paperwork.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

Previous chemical processing or manufacturing experience (mandatory).

Education:

GCSE grade C or equivalent in Chemistry, Maths, and English (or equivalent experience).

Skills:

Strong written and verbal English for accurate documentation.

Requirements:

Non-smoker (due to chemical handling); able to perform manual tasks; open to 24/7 day and night shifts.

Smelting-Specific:

Comfortable in a dusty environment with RPE and frequent stair climbing.
