Overview

The working hours for this position are Sunday-Thursday 22.00-06.00 on a 40-hour week.

Responsibilities

General Tasks:

• Preparing vegetables and potato products, mostly with a scoop or by hand
• Hand placing items in lines of 3-4
• Correcting weights to minimize waste
• Assisting with changeovers by emptying and cleaning bins and waste tubs, and cleaning the area
• Weighing on multi-portion and twin-portion lines at required speed

Quality:

• Ensure finished products are right first time
• Report potential quality issues to the line operator

Hygiene:

• Follow personal hygiene procedures
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Perform effective clean-downs during changeovers

Health & Safety:

• Work safely at all times
• Follow safe working practices
• Assist with risk assessments if required
• Report accidents or hazards

About you

Desirable:

• Experience in food safety
• Experience in a production environment
