Job summary

DS Smith is seeking a Production Operative for its Louth site. The role involves operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring high hygiene standards, and monitoring quality.

The position is initially a 3-month temporary contract with 42 hours per week across day and night shifts. Applicants should have 2+ years in manufacturing, a valid driving licence, and be able to work the full shift pattern.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in manufacturing/production.
• Able to work on 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00 shifts.
• Driving Licence and own vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production machinery.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping to BRC standards.
• Monitor product quality to meet high standards.
• Follow maintenance schedules and report issues via SAP.
• Complete training and safety documentation.
• Adhere to health & safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team and support continuous improvement.
