DS Smith is seeking an experienced Production Operative for its Louth site. You will operate and maintain production machinery, uphold high hygiene standards, and monitor product quality. The role runs on a 42-hour week (days 06:00–18:00, nights 18:00–06:00) with 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off.

A 2+ year manufacturing background, driving licence, and ability to handle heavy lifting are required. OT is paid at enhanced rates; there are progression opportunities, FLT licence training, and an Employee

Competenze

• 2+ years experience in manufacturing/production
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle due to shift pattern
• Ability to work to all elements of the shift pattern
• Able to be on foot for long periods and perform manual handling
• Good verbal and written communication
• Sound IT literacy and basic computer use
• Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
• FLT Counterbalance licence (not essential)

• Operate and maintain production machinery

• Follow maintenance schedules and report issues through SAP
