Norbev in Ballymena is seeking General Production Operator to support growing customer demand in a manufacturing setting. Roles include 12-hour days and night shifts, with weekend work, in a forward-looking, expanding local business.

You will join a team focused on safe, efficient production, with opportunities for training and development, plus on-site parking and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience within a manufacturing / food production environment
• Driving experience if applicable
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to the highest standard adhering to SOPs in a safe and efficient manner to maximise production and achieve targets
• Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive team and working environment, cooperating with colleagues and adapting to change
• Communicate in a respectful, professional and timely manner with Managers and wider team
• Promote accident prevention on your line by following safety guidelines and using PPE
• Carry out quality checks and take appropriate action if required
• Maintain documentation and traceability for each role
• Ensure product is within customer specifications
• Housekeeping of the work area to high health and safety standards
• Perform safety, quality and prestart checks and report issues
• Safely operate equipment including forklift and shunter
