Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is recruiting for a part-time order picker to assist in packing frozen orders for dispatch. The role operates 25 hours per week, 5 in 6, in a cold store at -20°C with protective clothing provided.

Pay is £13.45 per hour plus bonus and company benefits. Reporting to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, you will ensure accurate, timely picking and support the office team as needed, while helping maintain health, safety and stock

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers' orders arriving later are picked and placed on the cage for the next morning.
• Picking orders with zero mistakes.
• Improve efficiencies and implement improvements.
• Assist the office team when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.

Job description

Our customers are predominantly elderly and rely upon our office teams to take their orders over the phone or via the internet. The ultimate goal is to provide a service to our customers that exceeds expectations while at the same time continuously improving efficiencies.

The cold store runs at a chilly -20 degrees centigrade but don’t worry, protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.

Reporting to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, you are responsible for helping to pack customers frozen orders ready for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner.

This role is working 25 hours per week, 5 in 6.

£13.45 per hour + bonus + company benefits.
