The Pay You’ll Receive:

• £13.81 per hour
• Overtime 1 - £18.49 per hour
• Overtime 2 - £21.57 per hour
• Overtime 3 - £24.66 per hour

The Yours You’ll Work:

This position requires you to work a rotating two-shift pattern:

• Line 1: 07.00 - 15.18 (Monday to Thursday) / 07.00 - 14.53 (Friday); 16.35 - 00.53 (Monday to Thursday) / 15.10 - 23.03 (Friday)
• Line 2: 06.45 - 15.03 (Monday to Thursday) / 06.45 - 14.38 (Friday); 16.20 - 00.38 (Monday to Thursday) / 14.55 - 22.48 (Friday)

MTrec Recruitment is currently recruiting for a prestigious automotive company in the Washington / Sunderland area.

The Job You’ll Do:

We are looking for candidates with production / manufacturing experience. The role includes general duties such as machine operating, quality inspection, hand assembly, completing duties for despatch and inventory as designated by your supervisor.

• Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
• Help prioritize workloads within the department / designated production area
• Work in a fast-paced automotive environment
• Run machinery assisting with overall production process
• Use of hand tools to assemble components
• Hand assembly of automotive components
• Quality inspection of components
• Manual Handling with heavy lifting
• Knowledge of production departments and systems used
• Maintain health & safety standards
• Follow legal and company requirements for forklift use if applicable

About You:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced production / manufacturing environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Confidence and readiness to take on responsibility
