Job description

Puratos Fourayes is an exciting new venture. Puratos has been developing innovative products for the bakery industry since 1919 and has recently acquired Fourayes, the UK’s number one grower and processor of fruit. We’re looking for someone with a passion for making things happen, real enthusiasm for the food industry, as well as a strong desire to be part of cross-functional teams.

We aim to reach this with the creation of innovative food solutions that promote health & well-being and steadily move businesses, customers, people, and the planet forward.

Working in conjunction with the line supervisor, the successful candidate will work in a variety of roles on our food production lines, following the production plan and ensuring that the product is manufactured safely and efficiently to achieve the customers’ delivery and quality expectations.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Follow food safety and health and safety requirements at all times.
  • Work on food production lines carrying out repetitive, manual activities.
  • Ensure products and work processes meet quality standards and expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication with other staff members.
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking.

Notes

  • Due to our rural location and the shift pattern, it is essential that candidates can drive and have their own transport.
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: £11.44 per hour
  • Expected hours: 40 per week Monday – Friday.
