Job description

Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client based in Shepton Mallet, who are looking for several Production Operators to work on a 4 on 4 off basis. This could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Main duties:

• Operating machines that package products
• Operating machine line speed for quality control purposes
• Weigh and measure products to required specifications
• Completion of production paperwork
• Perform checks of the machinery and equipment
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Remove finished products, whilst discarding any rejected items

About you:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production
• Good attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Able to work to deadlines
• Reliable

Shift:

• 4 on 4 off - 2 days 0600-1800, 2 nights 1800-0600, 4 days off

Pay rate:

• £12.55 per hour
