Laborup in Newport is hiring Production Associates to support a fast-paced food and consumer packaged goods manufacturing environment. This is a clean, safety-first operation where quality, teamwork and consistency matter every day.

You will operate automated production lines, handle materials, perform basic quality checks, and help maintain sanitation under GMP guidelines. Training is provided and there is a clear path for advancement through internal promotions, with 2nd and 3rd shift options

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Willingness to learn new stations and grow into more advanced roles over time.
• Positive, dependable, and respectful; able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and Support Automated Production Lines – Assist with operating and monitoring automated machine lines; follow standard work instructions to keep production running smoothly and safely.
• Material Handling and Line Feeding – Load and unload raw materials and packaging components; stage materials at the line and keep flow consistent to prevent downtime.
• Quality Checks and Basic Measurements – Perform periodic in-process checks and basic measurements to confirm products meet quality standards; document checks as required.
• Sanitation and Work Area Organization – Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace; follow GMP and food-safety expectations throughout the shift.
• Teamwork and Shift Support – Work collaboratively with teammates and supervisors; communicate issues, support changeovers, and step into new stations as training progresses.
