Production Operator

Our expanding food manufacturing company based in Stafford Park is looking for full-time permanent production operatives to join their busy team who are the heart of the business.

As part of your role, you will be liaising with Management to understand daily/weekly production demands and pro-actively support the planning and preparation processes as required. You will be operating production line equipment and general factory machinery/equipment, loading blocks of cheese onto the conveyor to a specified blend (Heavy Lifting), and working in a high care area, carefully opening packaging with cutters.

In addition, you will be ensuring that the production area you are operating within is cleared and cleaned down as necessary daily, providing the Production Manager with progress updates throughout the day, actioning machine close down procedures daily, and any other duties which may reasonably be required of you.

• Previous experience is desirable
• Computer literate
• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Willing to learn and apply yourself
• Attention to detail
• Flexible

This role is physical; applicants MUST be prepared to be team players and have a flexible approach to support our ever-growing production department. You must be prepared to adhere to food hygiene standards.

Hours

Rotating 6-2 / 2-10 shifts Monday to Friday, 37.5-hour week.

Salary

£11.97 an hour - Permanent, Full-time
