Job description

Manpower has an exciting opportunity for skilled Production & Machine Operators for our client based in Coatbridge.

This opportunity will be a Temp to Perm role, after the completion of training.

The working patterns are:
Mon - Thu - 6am - 2pm and Friday 6am- 4pm Dayshift / Mon - Thur 2pm -10pm Backshift, on a rotational pattern


Roles will involve:

  • Operating assembly and production machinery
  • Measure, weigh, examine and record data for all parts of products
  • Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues
  • Monitoring products and assembly to conduct basic testing and quality checks
  • Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products
  • Keeping work areas and the factory floor clean and free from hazardous material
  • Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines


Skills required:

  • Use of measuring equipment such as, micrometre, vernier and drop gauge
  • Experience in soldering and production machinery
  • Ability to work as part of a team with a willingness to learn
  • Safety conscious
  • Good numerical, reading and computer skills
  • Proactive and can take initiative to escalate issues
  • Have great attention to detail
