Production Operatives Required - Immediate Starts

Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a production operative at our site in Airdrie, Scotland. You will pack and sort potatoes and products, moving between chill and ambient areas in a fast-paced production environment.

Local transport is preferred due to limited public transport. You must be flexible with shifts and able to work over 20 hours per week. Day shifts £12.71/hr; back shifts £13.21/hr, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production/food production environment.
• Flexible with shifts and shift patterns.
• Own transport or local living preferred.

• Working between chill and ambient areas of the operation.

Job description

Due to the location of the factory, candidates will ideally live locally or have their own transport due to limited public transport links.

Duties: Working between both chill and ambient areas of the operation, packing and sorting various potatoes and potato products.

Candidates must have previous experience working in a fast paced production/food production environment to be considered for this role.

Candidates must be flexible with regards to shifts and shift patterns as daily rota in place and we can't 100% guarantee the same shift time will be available everyday.

DAYSHIFT - £12.71 per hour:

• 6am-2pm
• 7am-3pm

BACKSHIFT - £13.21 per hour:

• 2pm-10pm
• 3pm-11pm

(YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVER 20 HOURS PER WEEK)

Please note, these finish times are not set in stone. Candidates may be required to work additional hours if overtime is required.
