FLT Production Operator

Location: Deeside

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (Temporary Ongoing)
Pay: £13.50/hour + £136.39 weekly shift allowance (hourly equivalent of £17.14 per hour)
Start Date: ASAP

Shifts: Rotating 3-shift pattern (Days & Nights)
- 06:00-14:00
- 14:00-22:00
- 22:00-06:00

About the Role

We're recruiting for an experienced FLT Production Operator to join a leading global paints and coatings manufacturer at their Deeside site. You'll play a key role in supporting the production and filling operations, ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing processes while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate FLT and support filling of finished products
  • Assist production during peak periods
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Proactively identify and resolve production issues
  • Meet production targets and deadlines
  • Minimise downtime and report equipment failures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HSE standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements
  • Implement technical instructions and rework materials as needed
  • Participate in Tier 1 production meetings

Requirements

  • GCSEs including Maths & English (or equivalent)
  • Valid FLT Counterbalance licence
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled in operating production machinery
  • Knowledge of hazardous substances and plant operations
  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • Experience in paint or chemical production (desirable)
