Job description

Gap personnel are recruiting Production Operators and Packing Operators for a global, leading manufacturer based in Thetford on a temporary to permanent basis.

The company is a large manufacturing site with a variety of roles & duties to be completed, a strong and positive company culture, where wellbeing & safety are paramount to the business culture.

Hours:Monday to Friday

Weekly shifts:06:00AM – 15:00PM

Pay:£12.21

Location:IP24 (Own transport required due to location)

Type:Ongoing temporary work – Temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate!

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Production Operator and Packing Operator you will play a crucial role in the production process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on a production line.
  • Placing bottles on the lines.
  • Placing caps on bottles.
  • Packing bottles into boxes and palletising boxes
  • Assembling cardboard boxes according to production specifications.
  • Inspecting finished products for quality control purposes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Following safety processes and guidelines while working with machinery.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Reporting any issues or malfunctions with machinery to the supervisor.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures related to Good Manufacturing Practice standards.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the production manager.

Requirements:
We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and gain new skills. While no prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided, the following qualities are essential:
