Are you a reliable and hands-on individual with an eye for detail? Do you enjoy working in a team-focused environment where quality and precision are key? We are looking for an enthusiastic Assembly Operative to join a successful and growing manufacturing business in Sandwich

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a stable and supportive company, with full training provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble a variety of components by following written instructions and visual diagrams.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in line with company Health & Safety procedures.
  • Use hand and bench tools to complete tasks accurately and efficiently (training provided).
  • Follow guidance from team leaders and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • Attend in-house training sessions as required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a production or assembly environment is required
  • Comfortable using basic tools

Skills & Abilities:

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions carefully.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic IT literacy (MS Office) is an advantage.

You will be working a 9 day fortnight so will have alternative Fridays off and the hours are 8.00am - 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am - 4.30pm Fridays.

This is initially a temporary role, however for the right person there could be the opportunity to become permanent.
