Join to apply for the Production Operatives role at Kingspan Group.

Kingspan Insulation is looking to recruit Production Operatives to join our team at the Pembridge site in Herefordshire on a full-time permanent basis. Shift allowances are 26% for days and 35% for nights.

Shifts Available

3-week shift rotation

• 05:45am – 14:00pm, Monday – Thursday, 05:45am – 13:00pm Friday
• 10:45pm – 6:00am Sunday, 9:45pm – 6:00am Monday – Thursday
• 13:45pm – 22:00pm, Monday – Thursday, 12:45pm – 20:00pm Friday

2-week shift rotation

• 13:45pm – 22:00pm, Monday – Thursday, 12:45pm – 20:00pm Friday

Role Responsibilities

As a Production Operative, you will learn and operate multiple pieces of equipment to support our site’s multiskilled workforce. You will ensure all production processes are operated safely, targets are met or exceeded, and product compliance and customer satisfaction are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet production requirements for quality, quantity, cost, safety, and timeliness, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Optimize operational standards, reduce waste and downtime, and contribute to process improvements.
• Comply with all HR policies and health and safety regulations.
• Become competent in various operational areas as required by the company.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

• Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
• Experience operating machinery with computerized touch screens
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Autonomous Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement
• Understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 37301, 50001)
• Teamworking skills and the ability to meet KPIs
• IT literacy and experience with SAP
• Training in C.O.S.H.H
• A full UK driving license (preferred)
