Production Operatives

Insight Employment are currently seeking Production Operatives to work for a leading bakery in Bedford. This is a temporary to permanent role and is full-time and paid weekly before you go permanent.

The Role:

This role involves working on a production line of a food manufacturing company, making cakes and buns in an ambient room temperature environment, so not chilled or working in a freezer. This is light work; however, it is fast-paced as you would be checking that hygiene practices remain excellent and the line continues running.

Requirements:

• Previous food production experience.
• Must be prepared to work in a chilled environment.
• Must be able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Good level of personal hygiene.
• Must be a team player.

Continental Shifts and Hours:

This role involves rotating between days and nights, working 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights.

Day Shift:

06:00 am - 18:00 pm

Night Shift:

18:00 pm - 06:00 am

Rates:

Days: £12.36 per hour
Nights: £15.45 per hour
Overtime: £18.54 per hour
