Job description

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a well-established food production site in Driffield, specialising in frozen vegetables. With the busy pea season starting in June, we are looking for dependable and detail-oriented individuals who are seeking long-term, ongoing work.


This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and welcoming team where hard work is recognised and valued.


A clear and achievable pay progression structure - starting at £12.21 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more as you progress.


This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, and the hours of work are:

  1. 6am to 6pm
  2. 6pm to 6am

Due to the remote location, you must have your own transport or live locally.


Ongoing work available beyond the seasonal period for the right candidates.


Your Time at Work

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for:

  1. Operating on a production line handling frozen vegetables
  2. Sorting, packing, and ensuring quality control of produce
  3. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food hygiene and safety standards
  4. Working efficiently in a chilled environment (suitable clothing provided)
  5. Remaining focused in a repetitive but straightforward role

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following skills:

  1. Strong attention to detail and a good level of concentration
  2. Reliable and punctual - especially during peak season
  3. A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
  4. Flexibility to work either day or night shifts on a rotating basis

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential, as full training is provided.
