Job description

The Role

Fantastic opportunities to join our busy Production team at our Leythorne site.

We are looking for reliable individuals, capable of working effectively and efficiently in a busy, team driven environment. Working across various departments, duties and responsibilities will reflect appropriate experience levels.

Our Operators are a key attribute to our business, underpinning the successful, day to day production operations. We know all about rolling our sleeves up and getting our hands dirty.

From working on the production lines, sorting & grading products for quality to setting up and monitoring production machinery and equipment, operatives will be fully trained in all aspects of the production process. Our thorough induction program will provide full training on everything you need to know about working in a food processing/manufacturing environment, including Food Safety Level 2, Allergen Control, Manual Handling and COSHH.

Days Shifts Available: Full time, permanent positions. 12 hour days 4 days on 4 days off

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and reliable individuals looking to play a significant role in our production process. Joining a great proactive team, candidates will assist with all steps in the production process, with duties including, but not restricted to:

Operators

  • Working on the production lines
  • Change film
  • Change labels
  • Wrapping and packaging
  • Checking product quality against customer specifications
  • Label verification checks
  • Adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

You will be working in a fast-moving, fresh produce production environment and in temperature-controlled conditions - usual temperatures are around 3℃ - 5℃. Long periods of standing and some heavy lifting can be expected.
