Job summary

Insight Employment is recruiting a Production Operative to work in the wet and dry areas of the factory. You will cut butter, pack, label and pour ingredients, and assist with dry ingredient mixing and weighing. The role requires reading measurements, following recipes, and heavy lifting.

Shifts run Mon–Fri with early and afternoon slots; rates are £13.22 for the early shift and £13.72 for the afternoon shift. This is a temporary ongoing position with standard safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to read measurements and weights
• Ability to follow a recipe to make up the dry ingredients
• Physically fit, as heavy lifting will be required

Responsibilities

• Work in either the dry or wet area of the factory, performing packing, labeling, weighing and preparation tasks
• Operate and mind machinery as required and assist with heavy lifting of sacks and ingredients

Job description

The Role:

As a Production Operative you will be required to work in either the dry or wet area of the factory.

The Wet area:

In this area you will be cutting butter, packing, labelling & pouring wet ingredients into a bucket.

The Dry area:

In this area you will be packing, labelling, weighing goods, measuring goods, machine minding and lifting heavy sacks of flour, sugar, grains, seeds to put into the hopper where the products will be all mixed together.

Requirements:

• Previous Production experience


• You must have excellent attention to details and be able to read measurements and weights.


• You will need to follow a recipe correctly to make up the dry ingredients.


• Must be physically fit, as heavy lifting will be required.

Shifts/Hours:

• Early shift Mon - Fri 07:00am-15:00pm


• Early shift Mon - Fri 13:00pm-22:00pm


• Afternoon shift Mon - Fri 14:45pm- Midnight


• Afternoon shift Mon - Fri 14:00pm-22:00pm

Rates:

• Early shift £13.22 per hour


• Afternoon Shift £13.72 per hour
