Job summary

Albert Bartlett is recruiting Production Operatives (Wash Plant) at their Airdrie facility. Join a British family brand focused on quality potatoes and innovative products. Full training will be provided to prepare potatoes for production.

Shifts are Sunday 09:00–17:00 and Monday–Thursday 17:00–01:00. Salary is £12.71 per hour plus 50p per hour backshift premium. Benefits include generous annual leave, free parking, life assurance, retailer discounts, and wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit to stand and perform manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing equipment to ensure potatoes are cleaned to quality standards.
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance of wash plant machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety guidelines in the wash plant area.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily targets and deadlines.

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives (Wash Plant) at our facility in Airdrie.
This role involves working on the wash plant, ensuring potatoes are washed and prepared appropriately for production. Full training will be provided for this position.
Shift & Hours of work: Sunday 0900 - 1700, & Monday to Thursday 1700 - 0100.
Salary: £12.71 per hour plus 50p per hour backshift premium.
Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing equipment to ensure potatoes are cleaned according to quality standards
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance of wash plant machinery to ensure efficient operation
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the wash plant area
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
